Benghazi: The House of Representatives is organizing a workshop to discuss the draft National Security Agency law. The Legislative and Constitutional Committee of the House of Representatives held this workshop at the Council’s headquarters in Benghazi on Saturday.
According to Libyan News Agency, the workshop was attended by Committee Chairman Ramadan Shambash, several members of the House of Representatives including Representatives Ali Al-Takbali and Ibrahim Al-Zaghid, and a group of experts and specialists in the field. During the workshop, participants reviewed and discussed the draft law, addressing its most prominent provisions and content. They also presented various observations and proposals aimed at enhancing the agency’s effectiveness in protecting national security in accordance with legal and constitutional principles.
This workshop is part of the Council’s Legislative and Constitutional Committee’s ongoing efforts to develop effective legislation that aligns with current requirements, supporting stability and strengthening national sovereignty.
