Benghazi-The Delegation of the House of Representatives which included Hassan Al-Barghouti, representing the Speaker of the House and the Chief of the House office Abdullah Al-Masri, concluded a visit during which they participated in the works of the 32nd conference of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union, which was held in the Egyptian capital ,Cairo.
The official SMS page of the (HoR) ,stated that the conference reviewed, in its final session ,the reports of the Permanent Parliamentary Committees in the Union ,stressing in the reports of the Committee of Political Affairs and Parliamentary Relations, that the Arab solidarity has become an urgent necessity in light of the current international developments and to ward off risks against unity of the Arab ranks , and the Committee concluded by its recommendation to call the Arab leaders meeting at the next Arab Summit, to make all possible efforts to purify the Arab atmosphere ,and settle differences between Arab countries to enhance the foundation of Arab security ,also to demand the next Arab Summit to activate and implement the decisions of Arab Summits on the Palestinian issue, and to reject the deal of the century, that was announced by the American former president ,including the American recognition of the unified Al-Quds as the capital of the Zionist entity.
The conference also reviewed the reports of the Committee of Women and Children Affairs that concluded by putting proposals to implement its action plan ,including the follow-up to work on revitalizing the Women’s Committee in the Union ,and working to close gap between the legal texts ,and the social ,economic, and political reality of the Arab women ,also the financial and economic reports of the committee have been discussed.
The conference confirmed in its final statement, the need to expedite the formation of the Libyan government ,away from the external interference ,also stressing the importance to adopt the Arab solidarity as a way to confront all the external and internal challenges ,and to enhance the Arab unity and overcome the differences, thus the importance of exchanging legislative and parliamentary experience ,coordinating the efforts to unify visions and overcoming obstacles to form a unified Arab attitudes towards Arab ,regional, and international issues.
The conference reiterated the need to reformulate an Arab strategy ,and activate the parliamentary diplomacy ,stressing the continuation of the consultation between brothers on different Arab issues.
