Tripoli: The Second Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Misbah Douma, convened a meeting today with key parliamentary officials to deliberate on the draft Anti-Money Laundering and Counter-Terrorism Financing Law. The meeting included the Chairman of the Planning, Finance, and General Budget Committee, Omar Tantoush, and the Chairman of the Legislative and Constitutional Committee, Ramadan Shambash.
According to Libyan News Agency, the spokesperson for the House of Representatives, Abdullah Blihaq, reported that the session focused on reviewing observations related to the proposed legislation. The officials exchanged views with the aim of facilitating the completion of the necessary legislative procedures.
