Tripoli: Minister of Health in the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Al-Ghouj, inaugurated the Sayyad Rural Hospital west of Tripoli on Sunday. The inauguration was attended by the Director General of the Emergency Medicine and Support Center, Tariq Al-Hamshari. This event marked the completion of renovation and development work carried out by the center as part of its plan to support health facilities and improve their operational efficiency.
According to Libyan News Agency, the renovation work included officially designating the facility as a rural hospital, reorganizing its administrative and medical departments and units, and activating several specialized departments and clinics. These enhancements aim to improve the level of healthcare services provided to citizens in the area.
A comprehensive neonatal unit was also established, featuring fully equipped incubators and a pediatric ward. This development is intended to enhance maternal and child health services and provide necessary medical care for newborns within the hospital.
