Hajjar Meets with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister to Discuss Regional Cooperation

Manama: Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmad Al-Hajjar met today with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi, on the sidelines of the “Manama Dialogue Forum” in Bahrain. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between Lebanon and Jordan amidst regional challenges.

According to National news agency – Lebanon, the discussion underscored the deep fraternal ties between the two nations. Both officials highlighted the importance of enhancing collaboration across various sectors, considering the issues both countries face in the current regional context.

Minister Hajjar expressed appreciation for Jordan’s supportive role towards Lebanon, emphasizing the hope for international intervention to ensure Israel fulfills its commitments to cease hostilities. He also called for global support in providing humanitarian aid and facilitating reconstruction efforts in Lebanon.

Minister Safadi reiterated Jordan’s commitment to Lebanon’s stability and assured continued support as Lebanon navigates through its crises and challenges.
