Tripoli: The General Authority for Hajj and Umrah Affairs announced that the Hajj lottery for the 1447 AH/2026 season is scheduled to take place next Saturday, February 7. The announcement was made today, Monday, urging all registered pilgrims to participate in the lottery event.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Authority emphasized the need for all registered pilgrims to be present for the lottery, which will commence at 10:00 AM. The exact locations for the lottery will be disclosed at a later date. This event is part of the Authority's efforts to facilitate the pilgrimage process for citizens.
Earlier, on January 24, the General Authority for Hajj and Umrah Affairs revealed that the Government of National Unity would finance this year's Hajj. This decision reflects the government's commitment to assisting citizens in performing the pilgrimage, supporting pilgrims to the Holy House of God, and reducing their financial burdens.
