Tripoli: A joint meeting between the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) and the Libyan Center for Solar Energy Research and Studies, attended by the European Union Delegation to Libya, focused on investment opportunities in solar energy and the European Union’s contributions to developing projects implemented in Libya.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting, which took place on Wednesday in Tripoli, featured a presentation on national strategic renewable energy projects, with a particular emphasis on solar energy. The discussion included potential areas of support that the European Union can provide to advance these projects.
At the meeting’s conclusion, participants underscored the importance of cooperation among all parties to achieve common goals in sustainable energy. This collaboration is expected to contribute to the development of Libya’s energy sector and enhance its economic stability.
