Jofra: The Southern Reorganization Committee announced today the arrest of an armed gang in the Jofra region following a tight security operation that resulted in the apprehension of individuals involved in a series of armed robberies.
According to Libyan News Agency, the arrested members of the gang confessed during initial investigations to having carried out more than 20 robberies. These crimes targeted public and private property, as well as citizens, in several areas of Jofra over the past period.
The committee explained that the security operation involved patrols from the General Directorate of Security Operations, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Jofra Security Directorate, and the Hun Police Station. The raid was executed based on accurate information and joint coordination between all relevant security agencies.
