Tripoli, Foreign Minister Najla Al Mangoush discussed with Minister of Employment Ali Al Abed cooperation between the two Ministries regarding the requirements and mechanisms of recruiting foreign labour, to contribute to the reconstruction process and the needs of local labour market.
This came at a meeting held at the Foreign Ministry headquarters, which tackled the issue of illegal migration, and the threat it poses to the national security and the demographic composition in Libya.
The Foreign Minister said resolving of the problem of illegal migration hinges on collaboration of all countries, international organisations to create sustainable development particularly in the sub-Saharan countries, and economic projects that offers means of living for people in the source countries.
