Field Marshal Haftar Extends Condolences to Libyan Armed Forces on Death of Lieutenant General Al-Haddad

Benghazi: Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan National Army, offered his condolences to all officers and personnel of the Libyan Armed Forces on the death of Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Haddad, who passed away Tuesday evening following a plane crash in Turkey.

According to Libyan News Agency, Field Marshal Haftar conveyed his sentiments through a telegram of condolence, emphasizing the significant loss to the Armed Forces. He noted that Lieutenant General Al-Haddad was a dedicated figure who fulfilled his military duties with commitment and responsibility, particularly during critical periods in the nation's history, always prioritizing national values.

In the message, Field Marshal Haftar expressed his deep sorrow over this tragic event and extended his condolences to the family, relatives, tribe, city, and all Libyan citizens connected to the deceased. He offered prayers for divine mercy for Lieutenant General Al-Haddad and comfort for his family and loved ones in their time of mourning.

Additionally, Field Marshal Haftar extended his sympathies to the Joint Military Command (5+5) due to the loss of Lieutenant General Al-Fitouri Gharibil, a committee member who was among those missing in the incident. He expressed heartfelt condolences to Gharibil's family and loved ones.
