Nalut: The European Union Ambassador to Libya, Nicola Orlando, and the UN Resident Coordinator in Libya and UNDP Representative, Sophie Kimkhaddze, visited the Nalut Municipality. They met with the mayor and members of the municipal council, the president of the Supreme Council of the Amazigh of Libya, the city’s notables and elders, representatives of civil society organizations, and the director of the Western Mountain Security Directorate.
According to Libyan News Agency, the municipal council explained on its Facebook page that during the expanded meeting between municipal officials, the European Union Ambassador, and the UN Resident Coordinator, ways to support cooperation between the European Union, the United Nations, and local municipalities, and to promote development and stability projects in the region, were discussed.
