Tripoli: The Electricity Company has announced the completion of the preparation and testing of the second transformer at the Tamzin station, marking a crucial step towards its integration into the national grid.
According to Libyan News Agency, the General Electricity Company revealed that the internal and external cable heads for Transformer No. (2) at the 11/66 kV Tamzin Station have been completed. The company also confirmed the successful completion of the cable technical testing phase.
In an official post, the company detailed that the cables have been installed in the cell, which now makes Transformer No. (2) ready to be operational and join the electricity grid shortly. This development is part of the company’s ongoing efforts to improve the performance of the electricity grid and enhance its stability across different regions.
