Tripoli: The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) has initiated the distribution of voter cards for the upcoming 2025 municipal council elections. This process is being carried out at designated distribution centers located within the municipalities participating in the election.
According to Libyan News Agency, the HNEC made an announcement via its official page, stating that voters can collect their voter cards from the centers where they initially registered. To obtain their cards, voters are required to present approved identification. The distribution centers are operational every day except Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The commission has stressed the need for voters to collect their voter cards on the specified dates, highlighting this as a crucial step for ensuring participation in the electoral process. This initiative is part of the broader technical and logistical preparations by the commission to conduct the elections in line with professional standards and maintain transparency.
