Tripoli: The Electoral Commission has officially set February 7th as the date for the municipal council elections in Tajoura, Sayyad, and Hashan. This announcement follows a meeting held at the headquarters of the High National Elections Commission.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting brought together Khaled Al-Musaimeh, the Director of the Commission's Awareness and Communication Department, along with the coordinator and staff from the Awareness and Communication Department at the Tripoli Electoral Administration Office. The primary focus of the meeting was to discuss the awareness plan for the upcoming municipal council elections and the mechanism for its implementation.
The discussion emphasized the importance of raising awareness among the residents of the three municipalities to ensure a smooth and successful electoral process. The meeting aimed to devise strategies to effectively communicate the election details to the public, ensuring transparency and encouraging voter participation.
