Tripoli: The Minister of Education in the Government of National Unity, Mohamed Abdul-Salam Al-Qaryu, convened with representatives of teachers' unions to deliberate on critical issues and demands that are currently confronting the education sector.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry communicated through its official page that this meeting underscores its dedication to assessing the conditions of teachers and addressing their demands and rights. During the session, Al-Qaryu attentively listened to the union representatives' concerns and emphasized that the rights and improvement of teachers' conditions remain a priority. He acknowledged that the demands presented are legitimate rights that the Ministry, in coordination with the Government of National Unity, is striving to address and resolve expeditiously.
The meeting culminated in the formation of a clear roadmap aimed at tackling outstanding issues, with a focus on developing practical and sustainable solutions to enhance stability within educational institutions. It highlighted the necessity of maintaining ongoing communication and dialogue between the Ministry and the teachers' unions, ensuring effective and continuous communication channels.
