Deputy Special Representative Discusses Service and Development Support with Benghazi Municipality

Tripoli: The Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General and UN Resident Coordinator in Libya, Ulrika Richardson, engaged in discussions with the Mayor of Benghazi and members of the Municipal Council. This meeting, occurring on the first day of the joint UN agency mission to eastern Libya, aimed at exploring ways to enhance cooperation.

According to Libyan News Agency, the discussions centered on strengthening service delivery, supporting the inclusion of persons with disabilities, and advancing sustainable development to align with local priorities. Both parties underscored the importance of deepening partnership and coordination to effectively translate local priorities into improvements that positively impact citizens' lives.
