Dbeibah Pushes for Fast-Tracking Tripoli’s Infrastructure Projects

Tripoli: Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah met with the Tripoli Central Municipal Council to discuss the municipality's needs, focusing on the government's plan to develop the capital's urban landscape. The discussions addressed traffic congestion, infrastructure issues, and the health and education sectors.

According to Libyan News Agency, during the meeting, the Municipal Council reviewed the status of ongoing projects within the municipality, highlighting accomplishments and identifying challenges hindering the completion of service projects. They discussed the necessary resources to support development plans and improve service efficiency for citizens.

Dbeibah emphasized the need for collaboration between executive bodies and the Municipal Council to expedite project implementations, aiming to enhance services in the capital. He directed executive agency heads to accelerate infrastructure and road projects, address bottlenecks, adhere to timelines, and improve coordination with the Municipal Council to ensure adherence to technical standards.

The meeting was attended by Minister of State for Prime Minister and Cabinet Affairs Mohammed bin Ghalbon, Minister of Youth Haitham Al-Zahaf, Head of the Executive Team for Presidential Initiatives and Strategic Projects Mustafa Al-Mana, and the Director General of the Government Communication Center, along with executive agency heads and public company directors.
