Tripoli: Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity Abdulhamid Dbeibah received Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan today, Tuesday, at the Prime Minister's Office, where they discussed developments in the region and the latest developments in the Libyan political process.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting, held as part of ongoing consultations and coordination between the two countries on a number of issues of mutual interest, addressed developments in the region and their implications for regional security and stability, as well as the latest developments in the Libyan political process and ways to support efforts aimed at unifying national institutions and strengthening stability.
The two sides also discussed areas of joint cooperation between Libya and Trkiye and ways to develop them in a number of fields in a manner that serves the shared interests of both countries.
The meeting was attended by National Security Adviser Ibrahim Dbeibah; Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs Walid Al-Lafi; Head of the Executive Team for the Prime Minister's Initiatives and Strategic Projects Mustafa Al-Manea; and Secretary-General of the Cabinet Office Adel Zwaiher.
