Tripoli: Prime Minister Abdulhamid Dbeibah of the Government of National Unity emphasized the importance of strengthening the role of youth hostels as incubators for young talent and platforms for developing and refining their skills, thus contributing to the consolidation of the values of volunteer work and community participation.
According to Libyan News Agency, this statement was made during a meeting on Thursday with Al-Shaibani Abdullah, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Libyan Youth Hostels Association. The meeting focused on the latest developments in youth hostel construction and development projects, as well as the association's plan to expand its programs and initiatives aimed at young people.
Dbeibah stressed the continued support for these institutions and the development of their facilities and programs to meet the aspirations of young people throughout the country. The Chairman of the Board of Directors reviewed the progress of ongoing projects and the facilities nearing completion and scheduled to open in the coming period, in addition to the programs implemented by the association. Notably, the Leadership Development Camp, which includes workshops and training activities focused on qualifying young leaders and developing their skills, was highlighted. Additionally, preparations for launching the "Ambition" camps as part of the association's summer program were discussed.
