Tripoli: The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, held discussions with Attorney General Al-Siddiq Al-Sour on enhancing the rule of law and ensuring its enforcement to achieve justice and preserve citizens’ rights.
According to Libyan News Agency, Al-Sour emphasized the crucial cooperation between the executive and judicial authorities to implement laws with justice and transparency. He highlighted the importance of enhancing citizens’ confidence in official institutions and underscored the necessity of respecting human rights principles in all legal procedures, ensuring they are not violated under any circumstances.
Dbaiba commended the Public Prosecution’s role in establishing justice and protecting rights, affirming the government’s commitment to support its efforts in law enforcement, as well as combating corruption and crime.
The meeting also addressed several legal files and discussed ways to overcome obstacles hindering the implementation of judicial rulings and procedures, aiming to achieve justice and solidify the rule of law.
