Dbaiba Engages With German Ambassador on Lufthansa Flights and Energy Cooperation

Tripoli: The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dbaiba, engaged in discussions today with the German Ambassador to Libya, Ralph Tarraf. The meeting focused on the return of Lufthansa flights to Libya and the potential resumption of direct flights between the two countries aimed at enhancing trade and tourism cooperation.

According to Libyan News Agency, the government’s media office reported that discussions also covered the issue of frozen Libyan funds and the exploration of opportunities in the alternative energy sector. Both parties emphasized the importance of strengthening joint projects in this area.

Ambassador Ralph Tarraf conveyed Germany’s readiness to expand bilateral cooperation with Libya across various fields. He highlighted the significance of bolstering relations between the two countries to serve their common interests.

Dbaiba, on his part, affirmed the Government of National Unity’s willingness to collaborate with Germany to promote development within Libya.
