Tripoli: During a meeting with the President of the Supreme Court, Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba expressed strong support for the judicial institution and rejected any compromise to its independence.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Dabaiba, met with Counselor Abdullah Bourziza, President of the Supreme Court, and members of the court. The meeting aimed to enhance communication and coordination between judicial institutions and the executive authority.
The Prime Minister’s Media Office conveyed that Dabaiba emphasized the government’s unwavering support for the judicial institution. He categorically rejected any attempts to divide or compromise its independence, highlighting its importance as a pillar of the state of law and justice. Dabaiba affirmed his commitment to maintaining the unity and independence of the judiciary to ensure justice and stability in the country.
The discussion also focused on enhancing judicial work and enabling courts to perform their duties efficiently. The meeting explored ways to create conducive conditions for developing the work environment within judicial institutions.
