Tripoli: Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, engaged in discussions concerning development and service issues in Zliten during a meeting with a delegation from the Zliten Municipal Council.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting took place at the Prime Minister’s Office in Tripoli, where Dabaiba congratulated the council members on their success in the local elections. He emphasized the importance of strengthening democratic participation and highlighted the role of local councils in serving citizens and addressing their needs.
The meeting was attended by key figures, including Dabaiba’s financial advisor and Minister of Transport, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, the acting Minister of Local Government, Abdul Shafi Al-Juwaifi, members of the city’s Supreme Council of State, and several notables and dignitaries from the municipality. Dabaiba listened to the proposals presented by the Municipal Council and stressed the significance of implementing vital projects to enhance public services for the citizens.
Dabaiba directed the completion of several essential projects, such as the construction of two bridges and the opening of Zawiya Al-Sabaa during Ramadan. He also emphasized the importance of equipping Zliten General Hospital to better serve the city’s residents and improve service quality.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister highlighted the necessity for continuous coordination between executive bodies and the municipal council to ensure that projects are effectively monitored and implemented.
