Tripoli: The Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdul Hamid Dabaiba, has confirmed the government’s commitment to allocating the third chapter budget to major projects across the country. This initiative aims to enhance sustainable development and support economic growth.
According to Libyan News Agency, the announcement was made during a meeting in Dabaiba’s office. Present at the meeting were Mohammed Al-Zaidani, the Minister of Planning in charge, Mohammed Al-Shahoubi, the Minister of Finance and Financial Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister, and Mustafa Al-Manea, the head of the executive team for the President’s Initiatives and Strategic Projects. The discussion focused on the 2024 budget designated for these projects.
Dabaiba emphasized the importance of prioritizing strategic and major projects. This marks a shift from the previous stage, which concentrated on implementing projects horizontally and locally across various regions. The government’s renewed focus is intended to ensure
a long-term impact on the nation’s development.
