Tripoli: During a critical meeting with the head of the National Oil Corporation, Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba emphasized the necessity of intensifying efforts to advance the infrastructure of Libya’s oil sector. Dabaiba highlighted the importance of executing strategic projects aimed at ensuring sustainable production and enhancing operational efficiency.
According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting with Masoud Suleiman, Chairman of the National Oil Corporation, focused on assessing the corporation’s ongoing efforts and plans to boost production rates and stabilize local market supplies. Dabaiba reaffirmed the government’s support for the corporation, recognizing it as a fundamental pillar of the national economy.
In the meeting, Suleiman shared insights from his recent engagements with leading international companies at the ADIPEC conference and exhibition in Abu Dhabi. These discussions have opened up new cooperation opportunities and understandings, which could significantly benefit Libya’s oil sector.
