Dabaiba Advocates for Enhanced Military and Security Training Cooperation Among African Nations.

Tripoli: Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dabaiba has called for strengthened collaboration in military and security training across African nations to foster greater cooperation. This appeal was made during his speech at the closing ceremony of the 18th Conference of Leaders of African Command and Staff Colleges (Acoc), held at the Libyan Command and Staff College in Tripoli, where Libya served as the current president of the conference.

According to Libyan News Agency, Prime Minister Dabaiba emphasized that Africa is a unified entity, and its security concerns are shared by all its members. He highlighted the importance of collective security efforts to ensure the stability of the continent. African leaders attending the conference expressed appreciation for Libya’s support and its capability to host international events once again. The participants acknowledged the excellent reception and organization of the conference.

The conference aimed to facilitate the exchange of experiences and enhance cooperation betw
een command and staff colleges in various sectors. This initiative is expected to contribute to the development of training and qualification programs, standardization of educational curricula, and bolstering the strategic capabilities of African countries. As the conference concluded, Rwanda assumed the presidency for the 19th session, preparing to host the next year’s activities.

The event witnessed the participation of leaders from African Command and Staff Colleges representing countries such as Algeria, Tunisia, Burundi, Morocco, Sudan, Kenya, Ghana, Niger, Botswana, Cameroon, Guinea-Conakry, Tanzania, South Sudan, Sierra Leone, Rwanda, Malawi, Uganda, Togo, Namibia, along with delegates from Mozambique, South Africa, and the African Union Commission.
