According to Libyan News Agency, the committees on sovereign positions of the High Council of State and the House of Representatives met with Stephanie Khoury, the Deputy Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations for Political Affairs. The meeting, which took place at the High Council of State headquarters in Tripoli, involved a comprehensive review of the latest developments concerning the nomination of candidates for sovereign positions in the state. A primary topic was the restructuring of the board of directors of the High National Elections Commission.
