Bougfa Meets Chadian Foreign Minister to Boost Bilateral Investment Projects

Tripoli: The Minister of Finance of the Government of National Unity and Chairman of the General Assembly of the Sahel and Sahara Investment and Trade Bank, Rashid Abu Ghaffa, held talks in Tripoli with Abdallah Saber Fadoul, the Minister of State and Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Integration, and Chadians Abroad. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board and General Manager of the Sahel and Sahara Investment and Trade Bank.

According to Libyan News Agency, the discussions focused on several issues of common economic interest. The Sahel and Sahara Investment and Trade Bank serves as the economic arm of the Community of Sahel-Saharan States (CEN-SAD), and plays a crucial role in fostering economic ties between member states.

The meeting also explored mechanisms for supporting investment projects between Libya and Chad. Both parties agreed on the importance of convening the Joint High Committee to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in economic ventures.
