Border Guard Service Wraps Up Desert Search and Rescue Training Course

Tripoli: The Border Guard Service concluded a training course today focused on search and rescue operations in desert environments, under the sponsorship of the International Organization for Migration (IOM). The course marks a significant step in enhancing the capabilities of the Border Guard Service in handling emergencies in challenging desert terrains.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Department of Security Relations and Media at the Border Guard Service highlighted the presence of key officials at the course, including the Director of the Office of the Service’s Affairs, the Director of the Department of Relations and Cooperation, and the Head of the Security and Order Office. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to build security capabilities and improve performance to meet international standards, facilitated by the cooperation between the Border Guard Service and IOM in training and development activities.
