The Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Libya, Abdullah Batili, met yesterday, Wednesday, in Tripoli, with a delegation from the Assembly of Representatives of the city of Misrata, which includes members of the House of Representatives and the Supreme Council of State.
The members of the delegation expressed their views on ways to move the political process forward, stressing the necessity of forming a small caretaker government to lead Libya towards elections, according to what ‘Batili’ wrote in his account on the ‘X’ platform.

Lebanese Army Commander, General Joseph Aoun, on Thursday received at his Yarzeh office, Saudi Military Attaché, Colonel Fawaz Al-Mutair
Discussions reportedly touched on the means of cooperation between the armies of both countries.
Maj. Gen. Aoun later received a delegation from the Union of Jabal Al-Rihan Municipalities, headed by Bassem Sharaf El-Din, with whom he discussed various matters.
