Tripoli: The Tripoli branch of the Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Agency announced the seizure of four separate cases related to drug trafficking and use during the past period. The agency’s efforts led to significant developments in the fight against illegal drugs in the region.
According to Libyan News Agency, the agency’s Public Relations and Cooperation Department reported that five individuals were arrested, and several strips containing tablets suspected to be Tramadol and Lyrica were found in their possession. These substances are often misused, contributing to health issues and addiction.
The same sources confirmed that the necessary legal procedures were taken, and the accused were referred to the Anti-Narcotics Prosecution Office to complete the investigations. The agency continues to focus on curbing the illegal drug trade and ensuring that those involved are brought to justice.
