Tripoli: The American envoy, Ambassador Richard Norland, met with the Chargé d’Affairs at the Embassy, Jeremy Brent, with the Turkish Ambassador, Kinan Yilmaz.
Ambassador Norland said in a tweet posted on the account of the US Embassy in Libya on the X platform on Tuesday evening, they discussed during the meeting the support of the United States and Turkey for the United Nations political process towards holding elections and our desire to see progress on the security and economic tracks.
He added, ‘We congratulate Libya and Turkey on the resumption of Turkish Airlines flights – which is a sign of stability in the country.’
