Libya’s representative to the United Nations, Taher Al-Sunni, said that the Libyans see the dream of elections evaporating again, and that the dialogues about electoral laws were supposed to end this month.
Al-Sunni added in a speech before the Security Council session on Libya today, Monday, that there are many countries that interfere in Libyan affairs, and the slogan of the Libyan monarchy is for political consumption.
Libya’s delegate to the United Nations called on the Lebanese government to release Hannibal Gaddafi and end this inhumane situation.
Al-Sunni affirmed that the Security Council’s handling of the file of detainees would be a message of support for the file of national reconciliation in Libya, which is led by the Presidential Council and the African Union, and the Security Council announced its support for it.
