Tripoli, The Head of the Electoral Commission, “Imad Al-Sayeh”, discussed with Canadian Ambassador “Isabelle Savard” and her accompanying delegation the developments of the scheduled electoral process, and the latest developments in the political scene locally and internationally.

During the meeting, which was held in the office of the Commission’s Council, the Canadian ambassador was briefed on the Commission’s level of readiness and readiness to accomplish the upcoming entitlements and ensure its integrity and transparency.

Savard reiterated the international community’s support for the upcoming elections, expressing her country’s readiness to support the Libyan people to achieve the upcoming elections.

The ambassador praised the efforts of the commission, which seeks to achieve the aspirations of the Libyans in building a democratic state, the way to which is to resort to the ballot boxes.
