Rome: The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Salah al-Din al-Namroush, met with Vice Admiral Paolo Pezzotti, Commander of the Italian Joint Special Operations Forces, in Rome. The discussion centered on advancing training and qualification programs for the Libyan Special Forces.

According to Libyan News Agency, this meeting is part of Lieutenant General al-Namroush's official visit to Italy. The official page of the Libyan Army General Staff noted that discussions included strategies for strengthening military training cooperation and leveraging Italian expertise to enhance the capabilities of the Libyan Special Forces. The aim is to elevate their efficiency and operational readiness.

Both parties also contemplated a comprehensive training plan for the Libyan Special Forces members. This plan seeks to refine their skills and boost their capabilities, ultimately enhancing their performance in the field. This collaboration is part of the ongoing military partnership between the Libyan and Italian armed forces.
