Al-Namroush Discusses Training Areas and Participation in Flintlock 2027 Exercise with British Military Attach©

Tripoli: Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Dr. 'Salah al-Din Al-Namroush,' met in his office with the British Military Attach© accredited to Libya, Lieutenant Colonel 'David Kims Beatty,' to discuss strengthening bilateral relations and prospects for joint military cooperation between the two countries.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting addressed a number of issues of mutual interest, foremost among them the development of military training programs, enhancing combat capabilities, and exchanging expertise in a manner that contributes to supporting the readiness of military personnel and developing their capabilities.

The meeting also reviewed preliminary arrangements and joint coordination for participation in the 'Flintlock 2027' exercise, in a manner that enhances cooperation and coordination in addressing security challenges and combating terrorism.

The two sides also discussed ways to support and train the special forces, contributing to the development of their field and operational capabilities and raising their level of readiness and professionalism.
