Al-Menfi Engages with Key Leaders in Zawiya to Promote National Reconciliation

Zawiya: The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, convened with a diverse assembly of representatives from the coastal and Western Mountain regions in the city of Zawiya. The gathering included mayors, security directors, military leaders, tribal elders, sheikhs, civil society representatives, university professors, and local leaders, highlighting the wide-ranging participation in this significant national meeting.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting's inclusive nature was emphasized by the Presidential Council's media office, which noted the diverse representation of participants. Al-Menfi, in his address, underscored the historical and national importance of Zawiya and the surrounding regions, praising their ongoing contribution to Libya's national reconciliation efforts.

Al-Menfi reiterated Libya's commitment to dialogue, consensus, and partnership as the cornerstones of the nation's future. Reflecting on Libya's storied past, he reminded the attendees of the sacrifices made by their forebears in overcoming colonial challenges, achieving independence, and uniting the nation under a single flag. This meeting was part of a broader effort to bridge divides, foster unity, and bolster solidarity across the nation.
