Al-Menfi Engages with Ghadames Municipality Delegation on National Reconciliation

Tripoli: The Head of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, met with a delegation from the municipality of Ghadames at the Council's headquarters in Tripoli. The delegation consisted of the Mayor, Yaqoub Ibrahim Dawi, members of the Municipal Council, and representatives from civil society, elders, and wise men. According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on the prominent challenges, needs, and general conditions in the municipality. The delegation expressed their support for the national reconciliation process spearheaded by the Head of the Presidential Council. They emphasized the necessity of continuing this initiative as a crucial element for strengthening social peace and consolidating national unity. Al-Menfi reiterated the importance of the municipalities and social components in supporting stability. He underscored the Presidential Council's commitment to continuing efforts towards national reconciliation and supporting initiatives that benefit citizens and promote balanced developmen t across various cities and regions. The delegation from Ghadames Municipality extended greetings and appreciation from the residents to the President of the Presidential Council. They commended his efforts to bridge divides, strengthen national consensus, and work towards reconciling different political viewpoints, contributing to an environment conducive to realizing Libyan aspirations for elections and stability.
