Al-Menfi Engages Misrata Delegation in Discussions on National Stability Efforts

Tripoli: President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, engaged in discussions with a delegation from Misrata, including the mayor, municipal council members, and the city’s Council of Elders and Notables, focusing on developments in the general situation and efforts to consolidate national stability.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Presidential Media Office highlighted that the meeting embodied a spirit of understanding and coordination between the political leadership and local elements. Al-Menfi commended Misrata’s pivotal national role, its resolute stance in defending the country’s unity, the safety of Tripoli, and the contributions of its citizens in safeguarding the capital’s security and preventing any threats to its vital facilities.

Al-Menfi emphasized the significance of bolstering national stability by maintaining the security and military institutions of the state. He underscored the necessity of achieving this within the framework of legal controls and applicable legislation, advocating for a comprehensive strategy to restructure and reorganize military institutions nationwide. This approach aims to ensure discipline, professionalism, and the integration of efforts to build a state founded on institutions and law.
