Al-Menfi Engages in Talks with Iranian Vice President in Turkmenistan

Awaza: President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Menfi, met with First Vice President of Iran, Mohammad Reza Aref, at his residence in the city of Awaza, Turkmenbasy, Turkmenistan. This meeting occurred on the sidelines of the Third UN Conference on Developing Countries.

According to Libyan News Agency, the meeting focused on exploring avenues to enhance cooperation between Libya and Iran. The leaders discussed mechanisms for activating joint committees, especially in economic sectors. Additionally, they addressed developments concerning the conditions of civilians in Gaza and explored strategies to halt aggression and resume relief efforts for the besieged Palestinian population.

During the meeting, the Iranian Vice President extended an invitation from the Iranian President to President Al-Menfi to visit Tehran at the earliest opportunity, aiming to strengthen the bilateral relations between the two nations.
