Doha: Chairman of the Presidential Council, Mohammed Al-Menfi, participated today in the opening session of the emergency Arab-Islamic summit held in the Qatari capital, Doha. The summit is focused on reviewing current developments in the region and coordinating positions on common challenges. The event sees the attendance of leaders from Arab and Islamic countries.
According to Libyan News Agency, the Presidential Council’s media office stated that Al-Menfi’s participation was in response to an official invitation from the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. His attendance represents Libya’s steadfast position in supporting its regional allies in confronting any aggression.
