Tripoli: The President of the Presidential Council, Mohamed Al-Manfi, today hosted a meeting at the Council’s headquarters in Tripoli with representatives from the Libyan Political Coalition. During the meeting, key issues related to the ongoing political process in Libya were discussed.
According to Libyan News Agency, the coalition representatives provided a comprehensive overview of their political project, which aligns with the Libyan political agreement. They outlined several obstacles currently hindering Libyans from exercising their electoral rights and proposed potential solutions. Additionally, they discussed the importance of keeping the law independent of political influence.
The representatives also emphasized the significance of involving societal components in the country’s stability process. They highlighted the necessity of unifying efforts among Libyans to bolster their participation in nation-building. Furthermore, the coalition affirmed its support for President Al-Manfi’s initiatives and
decisions aimed at achieving stability and development across Libya.
