Baghdad: The First Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, has issued a stark warning concerning the recent surge in terrorist activities in Syria, highlighting their potential impact on the security and stability of Iraq and the broader region. Al-Mandalawi emphasized that the failures of the Zionist entity in Lebanon and Gaza, coupled with its incapacity to dismantle the unity among factions supporting Palestine, have led to a renewed activation of terrorist groups within the Syrian landscape. According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Mandalawi has asserted that the Iraqi House of Representatives will be actively monitoring this issue to ensure that appropriate security measures are implemented. He has urged the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to heighten the readiness of security forces to safeguard Iraq's borders. Additionally, he has called for security leaders to conduct field visits to assess preparations and oversee border security operations.
