Al-Kilani Engages in Emergency Meeting to Bolster Support for Palestine and Lebanon

Tripoli: The Minister of Social Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Wafa Abubakr Al-Kilani, participated in an extraordinary session of the Executive Bureau of the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs, conducted via videoconference. This meeting was convened to unify humanitarian efforts and deliver aid to Palestine and Lebanon in response to ongoing crises.

According to Libyan News Agency, the Ministry highlighted that the session aimed to coordinate a unified Arab stance by activating emergency response mechanisms and intensifying social relief programs. The focus was on enhancing the readiness of Arab social institutions and developing rapid intervention tools tailored to various crises.

During the meeting, Al-Kilani emphasized the necessity of adopting urgent and effective executive measures that unify Arab efforts. She called for the acceleration of humanitarian interventions to ensure aid reaches the most affected populations and to prevent the worsening of social conditions in crisis-stricken areas.

Al-Kilani underscored the importance of practical initiatives that strengthen Arab solidarity and contribute to regional stability. The discussions included various proposals aimed at improving the efficiency of the joint Arab response and broadening support for affected nations.

The ministry reaffirmed Libya's commitment to actively participating in joint Arab endeavors and supporting humanitarian initiatives to alleviate suffering and enhance social cohesion within the region.
