Al-Kilani and Nigerian Counterpart Discuss Libyan Social Service Strategies

Amman: Al-Kilani and her counterpart in Nigeria reviewed the Libyan experience in developing and improving the efficiency of social services. The Nigerian Minister of Social Affairs expressed her hope to benefit from the Libyan experience in the social field and implement best practices in social programs to enhance social stability and support sustainable development.

According to Libyan News Agency, this discussion took place during a meeting between the Nigerian Minister of Social Affairs and the Minister of Social Affairs in the Government of National Unity, Wafaa Al-Kilani. The meeting occurred on the sidelines of the Arab Summit of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs held in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Minister Al-Kilani presented Libya's social protection policies, programs supporting the most vulnerable groups, women's empowerment, and childcare initiatives. She also highlighted efforts to develop and improve the efficiency of social services. The dialogue between both ministers also explored prospects for joint cooperation and the exchange of successful experiences in the social sector.
