Al-Haddad Follows Up on Security Developments in Tripoli

Tripoli: The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Lieutenant General Mohammed Al-Haddad, discussed with members of the Interim Committee for Security and Military Arrangements the latest security developments in the capital, Tripoli, and the implementation of measures to consolidate the ceasefire. This came during a meeting held on Sunday, attended by the committee charged with monitoring the implementation and consolidation of the ceasefire and advisors to the Presidential Council.

According to Libyan News Agency, the General Staff of the Libyan Army reported that the meeting discussed the coordination mechanism with the Tripoli Security Directorate and the Military Police, within the framework of maintaining the security and stability of the capital. The measures taken aim to restore security, which will contribute to restoring public life to normal.
