Al Dbeiba At Meeting With Algerian President: We Seek To Promote Trade Exchange With Algeria.

Algiers, The Head of Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dbeiba has expressed Libya’s desire to promote relations with Algeria in all areas to achieve comprehensive development and confront negative interventions in the region.

This came at a meeting Al Dbeiba had with Algerian President Abdel Madjid Tebboune in Algiers.

The Head of GNU underlined importance of security cooperation with Algeria in combating cross border crime and terrorism.

He highlighted hosting by Algeria of the Libyan-Algerian Business Forum, which he said would encourage trade exchange and support the private sector to diversify sources of income.

Al Dbeiba thanked the Algerian Government for their assistance of the Electricity Company in the maintenance and running of the Al Khoms emergency plant, indicating that cooperation in the energy area invites us to increase exchange by activating electricity production and transmission agreements.

Algerian President has expressed support for Libyan national reconciliation, and said his country was prepared to open its airspace and resumes flights with Libya and to re-open border crossing as well.

He also indicated a possible exchange in the healthcare area and back up the Libyan healthcare sector with medical staff.
