Tunis- The Head of the Government of National Unity Abdul Hamid Al Dabaiba renewed his support for any political meetings inside Libya, provided that their aim is to support the people’s choice, which is to hold elections.
Al Dabaiba affirmed, at a meeting in Tunis with the Head of the UN Support Mission in Libya, Abdoullaye Bathily that the government was fully prepared to hold the elections, according to the Government Communication office.
According to the Communication Office, Bathily assured Al Dabaiba that all the mission’s efforts with the Libyan parties will be focused on going to the elections as soon as possible. The media office said that this meeting was devoted to following up on the political situation and the results of Bathily’s local and international visits, and stressing the need to hold all political meetings inside Libya between all parties.
