Discussing cooperation relations between Libya and Germany

Tripoli -GNU-Minister of Justice Halima Abdul-Rahman ,discussed yesterday with German Ambassador to Libya, Michael Unmacht, and the accompanying delegation, the relations of cooperation between the two countries and ways of supporting and enhancing them in all areas.

During the meeting, which was held in the presence of a number of directors of departments at the Ministry of Justice, the Minister praised Germany’s efforts in supporting stability and electoral process, stressing the strengthening of joint cooperation between the two friendly countries.

The Ambassador expressed his country’s readiness to cooperate with the Minister in different areas, including capacity-building, training, and exchange experience between the two sides especially in area of forensic medicine, reform and rehabilitation institutions and the Higher Judicial Institute.

Unmacht stressed the importance of the Ministry’s role in advancing the general elections through supporting efforts of national reconciliation file, in order to achieve stability in the country.
