Tripoli: The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, met today in Tripoli with the Italian Ambassador to Libya, Gianluca Albrini, to discuss bilateral relations and the coordination of the two countries' positions on developments in the Mediterranean region. The meeting was also attended by the Director of the European Affairs Department, Abubakr Al-Tawil, and several diplomats from both sides. According to Libyan News Agency, the two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest at the bilateral, regional, and international levels. During the meeting, they exchanged views on coordinating their positions on developments in the Mediterranean region, development projects, and plans in Africa, as well as other important and priority issues on the agenda of both countries. The discussions underscore the ongoing efforts to strengthen ties between Libya and Italy, focusing on shared interests and collaborative approaches to reg ional challenges. This meeting highlights the importance both nations place on strategic diplomacy and cooperation, particularly in light of evolving geopolitical dynamics in the Mediterranean.
